PRIVATE EQUITY FUNDS OF TRIGINTA CAPITAL

Since its foundation, Triginta Capital has launched or taken over six private equity funds in secondary transactions with an aggregate fund volume of more than EUR 500 million.

Within its primary activities Triginta Capital focusses in particular on the funds High Tech Pool and Iris Capital Fund II. The secondary activities focus on the funds Triginta Capital Fund I and II. Apart from managing closed funds, Triginta Capital advises institutional investors and trusts.

The High Tech Pool focusses on selected fields of high technologies and invests in technology-orientated companies, particularly in the fields of nano and micro technology, photonics and pharmaceutical and medical technologies.

Iris Capital Fund II invests in selected growth enterprises in the field of media & entertainment, communication and IT. Together with the private equity management company Iris Capital Management, the Iris Capital Fund II was jointly initiated by Triginta Capital and the French CDC Group (Caisse des Dépôts). Triginta Capital Fund I is a private equity fund which has acquired a fund managed by Afinum Management GmbH in December 2006. The secondary direct transaction was one of the largest to date in Germany. The fund holds majority stakes in mid cap companies. All companies are leading in their own market segment.

Triginta Capital Fund II is a secondary direct private equity fund which has acquired Berlin Capital Fund GmbH from Landesbank Berlin in March 2007. The investment focus is on IT, telecommunication and Life Sciences as well as media, trade and commercial services. Over the last 25 years, the company has invested some EUR 200 million in over 120 enterprises.
